Our next event is on 11th / 12th February and is for year 9 and 10 girls. It aims to inspire them to consider a STEM career through showcasing the diversity of careers and pathways . The page will be updated with information each week as we confirm organisations, colleges and speakers



Speakers

Liz Painter is a career development writer for Trotman Publishing and has an MA in Careers Education and Coaching.
She was a science teacher for 24 years and led a range of STEM activities, including cross-curricular collaboration days and STEM in PSHCE. After leaving teaching in 2019, Liz joined Cheshire and Warrington LEP, supporting schools with their carers education programme and facilitating employer engagement.

Caroline Brown is a CIPD-qualified recruiter with 20 years’ experience helping organisations across the UK recruit engineering, scientific and IT talent. As the Founder and Director of Grassroots Recruitment, Caroline supports people at the start of their careers to understand what employers are looking for and how to stand out in modern recruitment.
